Honey, Have I ever told you . . .
How much I love this place? Our home, the mountains, the changing seasons and the farm chores.
To be able to sit in the morning breeze and sun on the porch swing with my coffee and my book and soak up the beauty and quiet. Watch the birds wing by, see the bunnies and chipmunks scurry across the driveway, wondering where their tall grass went. Listening to the creek tumble down the hill and the leaves rustle in the breeze. It doesn’t get any better than this. Thank you for helping make it happen.

Curious chicks, thinking about exploring the world outside. Each night one is out and can’t figure out how to get back in requiring rescue, cuddling and reintroduction to her buddies. They are 7 weeks old today.
